To all players who have entered into the singles at our national finals in September at Southport, the matches are all one hour long with 5 minutes added at the end to allow the player at the table to complete their visit if the hour elapses whist at the table. We will have referees and member of EC walking the floor especially in the big room to ensure players are playing within the spirit of the game, and not intentionally playing slow. every round the App will have the information regarding the table number the said 2 players need to be, its the player responsibility to ensure they seek this information, because we do not want players losing frames. the Match MUST start promptly and if a player has not arrived then every 10 mins a frame will be lost. We will also be announcing where you need to be over the tannoy. Their is no smoke breaks and if a player is caught going for a sneaky puff then they will be omitted from the tournament. Toilet Breaks, impossible to manage but common sense says you use the toilet before the match starts, I am sure 99% of our members will adhere to this. The programme and the groups have been sent to your county managers, also we are posting on our social media site. |
