If a ball is frozen to a cushion and a player double kisses that ball , hitting it causing it to rebound into the cue ball and back onto the cushion again , is that a foul ?? |

I would say yes its a foul because if its frozen and double kisses then technically the object ball hasnt left the cushion. |

if a ball is frozen to the cushion it is deemed to have hit a cushoin so another ball has to hit a cushion or its a foul |

4q OBJECT BALL FROZEN TO, THAT IS TOUCHING, A CUSHION When the cue ball makes first contact with an ‘on’ object ball which is ‘frozen’ to a cushion it is a foul if the shot does not result in .... (a) A ball being potted OR ( The cue ball contacting a cushion OR (c) The frozen ball contacting a cushion attached to a ‘separate’ rail OR (d) Any other object ball contacting a cushion with which it was not already in contact before the shot was played. A ball touching a cushion at the start of a shot which is forced into the same cushion is not considered to have struck that cushion unless it leaves the cushion, strikes another ball, and then contacts the cushion again. An object ball is not considered frozen to a cushion unless this is announced by a referee or player prior to a shot being played. Its a foul |
